Limited Lobby Access by Appointment Only

Nova Credit Union remains open to take care of all your financial needs.

For everyone's safety, Nova CU continues to serve our members at our drive-thru lanes, via phone, email, and USPS mail. Additionally, members have access to an abundance of e-services including mobile deposit, online transfers, and paying your Nova loan payments online using non-Nova debit card.

Due to the COVID 19 virus we are continuing to follow recommendations from our Public Health Service and the CDC for the protection and health of our members and our staff. We will have limited access to our lobbies available by appointment only. Our team will be wearing masks & gloves while waiting on you. Our team will do additional disinfecting of our working areas through-out the day which may add to the wait times for entry into our lobbies. Face Masks/Coverings are Required for Entry into Lobby. If you do not have a face mask, we can serve you at the drive-thru.

  • You must call us first to schedule an appointment. Check with us to see if it is necessary for you to come inside. Save Time and Stay Safe!
  • Face Masks or Face Coverings are required to enter the lobby. If you do not have one to wear while in the branch, please go through the drive-thru lanes for service.
  • For the safety of our Members and our Nova CU Team we ask that you practice social distancing when entering the lobby.
  • There will be floor markers to assist you in staying 6 feet apart.
  • There may be a wait outside to access the lobby. You will be allowed in as members exit the lobby. There may be a slight delay due to additional cleaning and disinfecting as we follow safety protocols.
  • Please be courteous to other members as you wait outside and practice social distancing.

Our team will be wearing masks and working behind "sneeze guards" while waiting on you. We will also do additional disinfecting of our working areas through-out the day which may add to the wait times for entry into our lobbies.

Additionally:

  • Nova CU team members have been asked to stay home if not feeling well.
  • Some of our team may wear gloves during their day to prevent the spread of germs while handling cash.
  • Extra cleaning precautions are taking place in all high-touch areas.

All lobbies are operating with limited access. Drive-thru hours for all locations are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Remote Account Access

As always, we are ready to serve you online & over the phone if you are unable to visit a branch office.

  • eBranch: access your account information via your computer
  • eBranch Mobile: access your account information via your cell phone (APP)
  • Zip24: access your account information via your cell phone (voice)
  • Call Center: our Call Center is available all day & night, weekends, and holidays. Call for account information, to start your loan application, for help accessing your accounts online.

ACCESS TO CASH & DEPOSITS:

  • Branches – Some branches are temporarily closed or operating on limited hours please call first before making a trip.
  • CO-OP ATMs — 30,000 ATMs nationwide for you to access funds. Text your zip code to 91989 to find nearby ATMs
  • SECU Cashpoints ATMs — there are over 1,000 Cashpoints ATMs throughout NC.
  • Nova CU Debit Card — use the cash back feature when making purchases
  • Night Drop for Deposits — our branches have locked & secured night drops at the drive-thru lanes if you need to make a deposit on weekends, after-hours or early morning hours.
  • CO-OP Shared Branches — there may be other credit union branches closer to your home or work that you could use to make deposits or withdrawals to your account (you will need an updated ID (drivers license) and your Nova CU Member Number).

Statement from Our CEO

Dear Members,

We take the health and safety of our members and employees very seriously. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread, we want to share some of the actions Nova Credit Union is taking to help protect you and our employees.

Our Management Team has been closely monitoring guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and local health departments in our regions. We have already initiated and tested our Business Continuity Pandemic Plan, validated operational technologies, and identified vital staff to handle the enhancements of our remote servicing capabilities.

To protect you and our employees in our branch locations, we have increased the cleaning regimen for frequently touched surfaces and our managers and business development officers have switched from our typical greeting with a handshake to a non-touch welcome.

Despite the impact of the coronavirus on our economy, your financial security is being safeguarded by Nova CU, and our commitment to providing exceptional products and services remains as strong as ever.
